The riverfront area of the site will be designed to provide water access for wading and shore fishing. (Canoe and boat launching would probably be ill-advised until such time as dams are removed.) A fully accessible deck and shore fishing facility is proposed, with an emphasis to be placed on encouraging fishing opportunities for the elderly, persons with disabilities and children.
