About 40 acres of active farmland will be permanently maintained
as a sustainable urban agriculture demonstration site.
Visitors will be able to tour and to work on community gardens (including garden plots specifically designed for persons with disabilities), purchase locally produced foods and forest products (mushrooms, syrup), and learn from innovative and experimental techniques for sustainable food production in an urban setting.
