How we began
In early September 2006, a small determined group of neighbors began the process to preserve the beautiful open land and forest behind the Academy. The friends have been meeting since then to discuss ideas, to create a vision and goals for this preservation project and to raise the necessary funds. Although we started small, the enthusiasm has gained strength.
Meetings
We meet monthly at the office of the Community Foundation of Monroe County.
